The Caliwood Museum, is a technological museum located in the west of Santiago de Cali, near the Gato del Río and the Museum of Modern Art La Tertulia, and diagonally across from the Librería Nacional del Oeste and the La Sucursal Art Gallery. The institution is renowned for its emblematic collection of cinematographic, photographic, and phonographic devices, which predominantly showcase the evolution of filming and movie exhibition equipment used in Colombia, worldwide, and especially in the southwestern region of the country. These devices and equipment retained their analog nature well into the 1980.
