Located in an ancient extinct crater of the Poás Volcano, this jade-green, cold-water lagoon is surrounded by a dense cloud forest. The trail to reach it offers an excellent opportunity to observe high-altitude birds and unique vegetation like the 'Poor Man's Umbrella'.
