The Parques del Río Medellín project is a public space park of 71,800 square meters that integrates the city with its river to generate equity, competitiveness, and sustainability. Of the total urban infrastructure, 38,052 square meters correspond to green areas where 280 trees were planted to provide citizens with a natural environment to strengthen Medellín as an ecocity and become an important refuge for various species of flora and fauna.
