The Planetarium of Medellín Jesús Emilio Ramírez is a planetarium located in Medellín, Colombia. It was established on October 10, 1984 and is the first computer-controlled planetarium in South America. The planetarium is named after Jesús Emilio Ramírez González, a famous Colombian geophysicist. The purpose of the planetarium is to be a space for the promotion of scientific and technological culture of citizens and to encourage technological creativity. The museum is surrounded by a public space known as the Park of Wishes, which was designed by Felipe Uribe de Bedout to coordinate with the planetarium.
