• Day 1 — Arrival in Choachí
  Check-in at B&B – Trekking y Senderismo between 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
  Dinner at 7:00 pm. During dinner, participants are introduced to the local culture, the narrative of water and the network of people and initiatives working to care for the destination.
  Experience lead: Connie Llanos T – B&B manager and responsible for the design and operational coordination of De la Fuente al Destilado.

• Day 2 — Mountain, Páramo and Maza-Fonté Reserve
  Breakfast at 6:30 am and departure at 7:30 am towards the reserve.
  At 8:15 am, arrival at the association's headquarters to leave luggage and receive the trail snack. The hike begins at 9:00 am.
  The route crosses Andean forest and areas of frailejones, reaching Laguna de Paramillo (3,150 m / 10,335 ft). Depending on the group's pace and weather conditions, the route may continue to Alto del Águila (approximately 3,600 m / 11,811 ft).
  At the end of the hike, participants gather around the fire for canelazo, a snack, the history of the reserve, and the overnight stay.

• Day 3 — Alquimia del Alambique
  Breakfast at 8:00 am, followed by transportation to Yerbabuena with Don Carlos.
  At 10:30 am, a stop is made at the Río Blanco Valley to learn about its history.
  From 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, participants experience Alquimia del Alambique, including a spirits tasting, the story of Cruxe de las Rocas, lunch/light meal, and a visit to the production space.
  Return to B&B – Trekking y Senderismo at 3:00 pm for the closing of the experience, followed by departure at 3:30 pm towards the next destination.
  Accompaniment by Carlos Manolo Ríos. The experience at Balcón del Cielo is presented by its host, Cristina Gonzalez.

• Night 1 — B&B – Trekking y Senderismo
  Located in the urban area of Choachí.
  The B&B has 4 rooms:
  2 private rooms for couples.
  2 shared rooms, accommodating 2 and 3 people respectively.
  Total capacity of 9 people, with the possibility of adding 1 extra bed.
  3 full bathrooms available.
  1 additional bathroom with a sanitary unit; bathroom use will be distributed according to group size.
  A private room may be available upon request, subject to availability and for an additional fee.

• Night 2 — Maza-Fonté Association's rural headquarters
  The association has two tents with a capacity of up to 6 people each.
  Depending on the size of the group, one or two tents will be used. They are equipped with sleeping mats, mattresses, sleeping bags and pillows, and there is one full shared bathroom.
  The tents may be set up under a roof if weather conditions require it.

Transportation during the experience:
All transportation required between the different locations included in the experience is covered: B&B – Trekking y Senderismo → Maza-Fonté Reserve → Yerbabuena → B&B – Trekking y Senderismo

Included in the experience:
Personal hygiene travel kit, travel notebook/journal and accident insurance provided by the operator.

Additional languages: English, French or Italian can be arranged with at least one week's notice, for an additional fee of COP 220,000.

Getting to Choachí:

• Public transportation:
  Buses to Choachí depart from Terminal Transoriente in Bogotá.
  For safety reasons, we recommend reaching the terminal using a door-to-door transportation service.
• Private transportation:
  Private transportation can be arranged directly upon request, for an additional fee.

Physical Condition and Difficulty

• Profile: Designed for adults over 18 with moderate-to-high endurance and who are comfortable hiking at high altitude.
• Official difficulty: Moderate to high. It may be considered high if the group continues to Alto del Águila.
• Operational note: No participant is forced to continue ascending. If someone is unable to continue, the group returns together.

Rubber boots can be rented at Maza-Fonté, and waterproof outerwear is recommended. If rain prevents the planned outing, the itinerary may be adjusted—for example, by switching the páramo day with the distillation experience.
