The Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez is a football and athletics stadium located in Barranquilla, Colombia. It was inaugurated on May 11, 1986 and is the largest stadium in Colombia with a capacity of 46,692 spectators. The stadium is known as “La Casa de la Selección” and “El Coloso de la Ciudadela”. It is the home of the local football team, Atlético Junior, and is also used by the Colombian national team for their home games during the World Cup qualifiers.
